Day 2 - 4 October 2004

This was where we stayed, Holiday Inn. See the map here which with the red dot is the hotel location. It's very close to Sendai Station, which is indicated "yellow". The distance between the hotel and the station is approximately 500m.

Day 1, 3 October 2004

This is Day 1, the bullet train was fast, transferred at Tokyo station was not that bad. By the time we arrived at Sendai, it was late afternoon and it was slightly shower. We booked "Holiday Inn" which was 10 - 15 minutes walk from Sendai Station.

3-22 October 2004

Betwen 3 - 22 October 2004, my wife and I visisted Sendai, ferry from Sendai to Tomaikomai, Sapporo, Otaru, Shintoku, Furano, Asahikawa, Sounkyo, Mashu, Kushiro, Obihiro, Toya Lake and Hakodate. Rent a car from Sapporro to Hakodate for 11 days.On 22 October 2004, took JR train all the way down from Hokodate to Narita Airport, which was from 0900 to 1630hrs.

A very memorable trip!
